Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will build and nurture trusted relationships with current and prospective clients. You will be responsible for providing tailored financial planning and wealth management advice within the framework of an established business plan. All advice must be customized to suit each client’s needs and align with our advice and control policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members effectively.
  • Monitor team performance while mentoring and supporting staff.
  • Lead the team in executing the annual business plan aligned with individual targets.
  • Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones through excellent ongoing service to minimize attrition.
  • She has conducted and led client meetings professionally, ensuring all information and advice was accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure clients receive appropriate advice to meet their financial goals, considering factors such as retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency.
  • Conduct annual client reviews by evolving risk attitudes and strategic requirements.
  • Collaborate with Investment Management and Professional Services colleagues to enhance client relationships.
  • Maintain and update the New Business Pipeline, ensuring all data is current.
  • Ensure comprehensive client records are always accurate and aligned with Group policy.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in a Financial Planning or Advisory role.
  • Experience managing a team as a Team Leader or Manager.
  • Proven ability to oversee staff workload, providing mentoring and support.
  • Strong performance management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient relationship management skills.

You should hold a minimum Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning (with aspirations for Level 7) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
