Assurance & Business Services Team Overview
The Assurance & Business Services team at Evelyn Partners supports businesses in assuring stakeholders about their financial performance, even when a full audit isn’t required. We work with a diverse range of clients, including startups, family-run businesses, non-profits, and organizations across various industries, both in the UK and internationally.

Role Responsibilities
As a part of our Assurance & Business Services team, you will collaborate directly with finance teams, ranging from Accounts Assistants to Finance Directors. Your work environment will vary based on the client, whether you are at their office or working from one of our Evelyn Partners offices. In this role, you’ll help provide audit and advisory services that truly make a difference.
Audits at Evelyn Partners follow a structured cycle of Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion, with timelines varying based on the client’s size and complexity. This role will expose you to a wide range of businesses, helping you develop the knowledge and skills to become an effective auditor and trusted advisor.
Key Duties Include:
- Working in teams on various audit and accounting projects
- Gaining a deep understanding of client businesses and industries
- Keeping senior stakeholders updated on project progress
- Becoming proficient in audit and accounting software
- Addressing audit or accountancy-related queries
- Managing tasks while keeping time and budget in check
What We’re Looking For
- Currently in your penultimate year at university
- On track for a 2:2 degree or higher in any discipline
- Minimum of 112 UCAS points across your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies
- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 5 or higher (or equivalent)
