The Team
The Family Office & Private Client (FO&PC) team is part of KPMG’s nationwide practice, made up of 162 skilled professionals, led by 5 Partners, 3 Associate Partners, and 12 Directors. We deliver expert tax services across five key areas:
- Transactions and Entrepreneurial Shareholders
- Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs)
- International Taxation
- Partnerships
- Investigations and Enquiries
Our clients include high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, and private equity professionals, often with international tax needs. We also advise on trusts, estates, and partnerships.
The Role
To support our continued growth, we seek a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager for our Private Client team. You’ll lead the delivery of complex tax solutions, manage client relationships, and play a key role in business development. Your clients will include high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, shareholders, and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships and identify new work opportunities within your portfolio.
- Expand your internal and external network, especially focusing on targeted clients.
- Manage and coach team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Work closely with Corporate Finance to provide tax advisory services to shareholders during transactions.
- Assess client tax positions, develop innovative solutions, and project manage the implementation of advice.
- Oversee project finances through strong WIP management and billing practices.
Qualifications
- Degree and/or professional qualifications (ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA) with expertise in personal tax.
Experience and Skills
- Extensive experience in private client advisory, including shareholder tax planning, transactional advice, and international tax.
- Strong commercial understanding to communicate effectively with business owners.
- Proven ability to build long-term relationships with senior executives and shareholders.
- Enthusiasm for exceptional client service, with a high-energy approach that motivates the team.
- Strong team ethic, with a focus on growth and collaboration across the firm.
- Self-motivated and proactive in seizing market opportunities.
