Glacier Fish Company is committed to producing the highest quality frozen-at-sea groundfish products worldwide. Through a steadfast focus on quality, safety, and resource sustainability, we lead in the frozen-at-sea cod and pollock industry, distributing globally. Operating two trawl catcher-processor vessels, our teams work in Alaska’s Bering Sea and off the coasts of Washington and Oregon.

Position Overview:
This role involves converting raw fish into processed, market-ready products. Ideal candidates are familiar with physically demanding environments, such as production, construction, logging, oil fields, agriculture, or seafood processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort fish by species, size, and condition
• Operate and tend machinery
• Ensure fillet quality standards are met
• Package, weigh, and label products for freezing
• Perform deep cleaning of equipment
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies

Requirements:

• Ability to work in fast-paced, repetitive settings
• Physical stamina to lift up to 70 lbs and stand 16 hours per day
• Capability to work in confined, cold, and wet spaces
• Self-motivation and teamwork orientation
• Provide two recent positive employer references
• Post-offer pre-employment drug test, medical, and background screening

Life On Board:

• Shared rooms with limited privacy (4-8 bunks per room)
• Fishing trips averaging 13-24 days
• Meals and laundry provided at no cost
• Limited communication; Starlink satellite Wi-Fi available for internet access

Compensation:

• Monthly Salary Range: $7,800 – $8,600
• Crew share earnings between $4,200 – $4,900 per trip (18-24 days on average)
