What Does a Merchandiser Do?

As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the availability and presentation of our products in stores. This involves ensuring that all Swire Coca-Cola customer locations are well-stocked and organized according to our standards. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, and you will be the face of our brand in the community.

Daily Responsibilities

• Organize and Clean: You will start each day by cleaning and organizing shelves and aisles, ensuring a safe environment for customers.
• Restock and Rotate Products: Daily restocking of coolers, displays, racks, and shelves is essential. You’ll use a first-in, first-out system to rotate products, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Build Displays: As a Merchandiser, you will create attractive displays and promotional items, following guidelines set by your supervisor and store management.
• Utilize Technology: Throughout your day, you’ll use various technologies and applications to enhance efficiency and communication.
• Maintain Back Rooms: Organizing back stock areas is crucial for ensuring that products are safely accessible when needed.
• Return Unfit Products: You will prepare and return any credited products that are unfit for sale, maintaining the integrity of our offerings.
• Participate in Meetings: Attending team meetings and assisting with special projects will be part of your role, contributing to team cohesion and performance.

Requirements for the Role

To be successful as a Merchandiser, you should meet the following criteria:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Swire’s vehicle policy
• Ability to travel to various stores using a reliable vehicle
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
