Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the growth of asset management business development, covering institutional sales in Bermuda and retail sales within Wealth and Personal Banking.
• Collaboration: Work closely with international and local teams to design and deliver suitable asset management solutions for clients.
• Business Planning: Contribute to the annual strategic business development plan and oversee its execution for sustained growth.
• Client Engagement: Prepare and present proposals, respond to client inquiries, and conduct due diligence for potential business.
• Revenue Growth: Develop strategies to attract new business and boost revenue for existing clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, ideally in finance or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in financial services, with a strong background in institutional asset management sales.
• Expertise: Knowledge of investment management products, with a record in business development and customer service in asset management.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage sophisticated clients and corporate boards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Core Skills: Business development, customer service, strategic planning, asset management product knowledge, presentation skills.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in financial services and asset management.
• Certifications: Relevant financial certifications are preferred.
• Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in institutional asset management, with strong knowledge of asset management solutions and business development.
