Role Overview: Business Manager

As a Business Manager, you will oversee critical aspects of warehouse and inventory management across multiple locations. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Area Management, you will play a key role in optimizing processes, enhancing inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Manager

1. Inventory Oversight

• Manage the flow of inventory, including incoming stock, returns, disposals, and inter-warehouse transfers.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) are accurate.

2. Process Monitoring and Reporting

• Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory and operational KPIs.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues promptly to ensure resolution.

3. Quality Assurance

• Measure inventory integrity and provide feedback to warehouse managers.
• Analyze customer complaints and defect data to develop action plans for improvement.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in current processes and propose enhancements to streamline operations.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse processes across all shifts and departments.

5. Compliance and Security

• Collaborate with warehouse security teams to monitor operations, including CCTV footage reviews.
• Ensure all processes comply with quality and security standards.

6. Ad-hoc Support

• Assist with additional tasks assigned by the line manager to support operational goals.
