This role involves managing financial processes, including bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting, while supporting clients with all their financial needs. Key Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping Management: Handle bookkeeping for Australian SMEs, cooperatives, and accounting practices.
2. Payroll Preparation: Process weekly, fortnightly, and month-end payrolls.
3. Tax Compliance: Assist with BAS, CGT, and FBT preparation in line with ATO requirements.
4. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
5. Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations for all relevant accounts.
6. Asset Management: Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register.
7. Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to address operational and financial queries.
8. Financial Analysis: Analyze account data and generate customized reports.
9. Management Reporting: Prepare month-end management reports for review.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Finance Executive with strong technical and analytical abilities, who can manage complex financial tasks and work collaboratively with clients.

Skills and Qualifications

Core Skills

• Expertise in accounting software like XERO, MYOB, HandiTax, or Handi Ledger.
• Strong understanding of ATO compliance related to GST and payroll.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and asset management.

Education and Experience

• Education: Fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA, CA, or CPA.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2+ years in tax accounting, particularly for Australian clients.
  • Experience in business process outsourcing (BPO) is advantageous.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with experience in client interaction.
• Attention to detail and task-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
