Key Responsibilities of an Account Manager

  • Continuously identify areas for improvement, analyze data, and update information in the system.
  • Innovate with solutions by performing root cause analyses to address challenges effectively.

2. Pharmacy Operations Management

  • Collaborate on sorting and maintaining pharmacy catalogues and formularies.
  • Provide actionable insights into pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth execution and enhanced efficiency.
  • Help in developing proposals for launching successful pharmacy models.

3. Onboarding and Training

  • Oversee onboarding, training, and activation of new accounts.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new clients into the system, fostering long-term relationships.

4. Support Sales Efforts

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support interactions with prospective clients.
  • Act as the operational bridge, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

5. Operational Tasks Management

  • Plan and manage tasks related to key project deliverables.
  • Follow up on outstanding items, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks while maintaining data sheets and trackers.

6. Communication and Coordination

  • Facilitate communication with sub-departments in the operations team.
  • Collaborate with shop teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Skills and Competencies Required for an Account Manager

1. Technical Proficiency

  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Docs to manage tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of photo editing will be a bonus.

2. Industry Knowledge

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, including brands and categories.
  • Ability to provide valuable insights into pharmacy operations and processes.
