Job Description
Job Purpose
The Accounts Payable Assistant plays a crucial role in processing employee expenses and supplier invoices. You will ensure that all payments are authorized, accurately coded, paid on time, and that any queries are resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee expenses and supplier invoices using Concur and NetSuite.
- Manage weekly payment runs for employee expenses and suppliers.
- Ensure all invoices and expenses receive proper authorization.
- Allocate all employee expenses and supplier invoices to the appropriate business areas or projects.
- Verify that employee expenses comply with company policies, providing assistance as needed.
- Generate reports in Concur and communicate the data to relevant business units.
- Maintain a shared Finance inbox for incoming queries.
- Address supplier inquiries regarding their invoices.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a finance team within an accounts payable role.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Sage, NetSuite, and Concur is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE Level A-C in Maths and English.
