Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Audit Training & Development Manager to join our ABS Training and Development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing hands-on training to help staff effectively manage regulatory and reputational risks in a rapidly changing environment.
As part of a national team, you’ll work alongside both full-time staff and volunteers to deliver ongoing, practical training to audit teams. You’ll also collaborate with our Assurance Technical and Training (ATAT) group and the Learning and Development team to provide seamless training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with key stakeholders, including the Training and Development Lead, to ensure training updates are shared and feedback is gathered.
- Plan, develop, and deliver training within agreed timelines.
- Propose new training ideas, attend internal meetings, and build strong networks across the firm.
- Manage or co-manage a small portfolio of audit clients to stay current with industry practices.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience in a professional services firm.
- A solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards and their practical applications.
- Knowledge of staff skill requirements at various levels to assign tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for working with all stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in developing and delivering practical training.
- A passion for helping people grow and enhancing audit quality.
- Ability to create and present relevant audit content that meets business needs.
