Role: Auto Electrician – Ravensworth, NSW Jobs in Australia with Visa Sponsorship 

As an Auto Electrician at WesTrac, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of CAT 797F mining trucks. This role focuses on safety, high-quality work, and a commitment to maintaining efficient and reliable equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on CAT 797F Mining Trucks, including diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, connections, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical problems using diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to a lifestyle roster (14/28) with a mix of day and night shifts.

Skills, Education & Experience

• Certification: Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential).
• Experience: Prior experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role, particularly in mining.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and strong diagnostic skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and the ability to work independently when necessary.
