Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning menus, pricing, and adhering to budget constraints while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, and quality control of all pastry ingredients.
- Manage the preparation and presentation of pastry items for all outlets, including banquets, breakfast, room service, and amenities for guests.
- Lead and train the pastry team, assigning tasks and ensuring high operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and organizational requirements.
- Resolve guest complaints regarding pastry items.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Participate in special projects and any additional tasks as needed by the Executive Pastry Chef.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used and maintained according to the training provided.
- Continuously update culinary knowledge and technical skills through training.
