Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services to clients, exceeding their expectations and adding value to engagements.
• Manage financial accounting advisory projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Advise clients on complex accounting issues, including IFRS, GAAP, and US GAAP, and provide solutions tailored to their specific needs.
• Supervise a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to foster growth.
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and value-added solutions.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
• Assist in the development and improvement of financial statements, reporting processes, and accounting systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial accounting advisory or audit/assurance at a large firm or in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, with experience in US GAAP being advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are preferred.
• Skills & Qualifications:
  • Expertise in managing large teams and projects, with a proven ability to lead complex assignments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (knowledge of Russian is a plus).
  • Proficient in IT tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
