Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage Butler/Room Attendant team on assigned floors.
- Ensure that all Villas are checked and re-let promptly.
- Perform inspections of villas to ensure guest requests and amenities are fulfilled.
- Provide exemplary guest service and follow up on requests promptly.
- Spot check Butler/Room Attendant service and cleanliness standards.
- Provide on-the-job training and conduct development training for Butlers.
- Issue work orders for repairs and follow up for completion.
- Ensure that cleaning and maintenance supplies are ordered and stored correctly.
- Participate in monthly quality checks, such as pest inspections.
- Assist in managing inventories, minimizing wastage, and maintaining equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or issues and escalate as necessary.
- Perform other duties as required by the Department Head.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal Head Butler will have a strong background in guest relations or butler services, preferably within luxury hospitality environments. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards. A proactive approach and ability to handle guest requests with minimal delay are key attributes for success in this role.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Guest Relations or as a Butler in a luxury hotel.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field.
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Ability to lead a team and train others effectively.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work night shifts as required.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Butler or in a guest relations role within a luxury hotel.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
