Job Description

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and take full responsibility for managing daily housekeeping operations. This role will involve overseeing cleanliness standards, training and managing staff, and ensuring all housekeeping tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness standards are met consistently.
2. Inspect assigned guestrooms and public areas to ensure everything is in place.
3. Respond to guest and staff needs promptly and professionally.
4. Ensure proper handling of all guest requests and room servicing needs.
5. Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff to review expectations and objectives.
6. Train and motivate housekeeping staff to adhere to high service standards.
7. Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and order as necessary.
8. Report any maintenance issues, missing or damaged items to management.
9. Assist in employee training, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet expectations.
