Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations, safely transporting goods between our operational centres and customers. Your work will help ensure that our deliveries run smoothly, and your presence will strengthen our community ties.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading Freight: Safely load cages into your truck for delivery.
• Vehicle Safety Checks: Conduct daily inspections to ensure your vehicle is safe and operational.
• Driving Duties: Drive modern trucks between operational centres and customers for deliveries and pickups.
• Unloading Freight: Return to operational centres to unload items efficiently.
• Rotating Roster: Work a rotating roster with shift times ranging from morning to lunchtime starts.

Skills and Qualifications

• License Requirement: Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license; HC or MC license is advantageous.

• Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Physical Requirements: Must meet a safe working load limit of 120kgs or less.

Education and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in driving or a delivery role is beneficial but not required.
