Job Description

As a Java Developer at Deloitte Romania, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge IT solutions to address complex business challenges. Working within the Tax Innovation team, you will leverage your technical expertise in Java and associated frameworks to deliver seamless integrations and high-performance applications.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with functional designers, business analysts, and global teams in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs to design and implement Java-based solutions.
• Develop and test RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ensure compliance with functional and technical design standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
• Support testing, integration, and deployment efforts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Java development roles.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL databases.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like GIT, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Added Advantage: Consulting experience and Agile methodology familiarity.
