POP & Co is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to support financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and reconciliation. You will liaise with Australian clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for Australian SMEs and corporate clients.
2. Payroll Management: Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and month-end payrolls.
3. Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT).
4. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
5. Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations for all relevant accounts.
6. Financial Analysis: Analyze account data and generate reports for management.
7. Client Liaison: Communicate with Australian clients to address operational queries.
8. Management Reporting: Prepare month-end financial and management reports.

Skills and Qualifications

Core Skills

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and payroll preparation.

Education and Experience

• Education: Partly qualified in ACCA, CIMA, CA, or CPA.
• Experience:
  • Minimum one year of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
