HOYTS is seeking a dynamic Location Manager to lead cinema operations in Penrith, NSW. This is a unique opportunity for a natural leader to manage a large team in the entertainment industry. Working in the fast-paced Cinema Operations Department, you’ll be key to driving the HOYTS brand forward through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Empower and lead team members to exceed guest expectations.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
- Customer Experience: Identify and implement improvements for customer satisfaction.
- Operational Management: Manage daily cinema operations to ensure profitability and KPI achievement.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to HR, WHS, and Risk Management policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a results-oriented approach, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing memorable guest experiences. You will excel in a fast-paced environment and bring a proactive mindset to the role.
Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in a similar industry.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving: Ability to drive improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Results-Driven: Skilled in working to KPIs and financial targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and film projection (preferred).
- Communication Skills: Strong communication with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Experience: 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in entertainment or hospitality.
- Education: No formal education required; however, leadership training or certifications are beneficial.
Availability
As a Location Manager, you’ll be on the front lines during peak periods, including weekends, holidays, and late nights, when HOYTS is most bustling. Availability to work these hours is essential.
