Key Responsibilities of Loss Prevention Executive

1. Security Management

• Act as the security duty manager in the absence of the department manager.
• Ensure the protection of company assets, including maintaining perimeter security and managing guard deployments.
• Coordinate with local police stations to establish strong relationships for timely support when needed.

2. Incident Reporting and Analysis

• Report all security and safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and suggest corrective actions.
• Share incident reports with store managers, regional security managers, and senior security management.

3. Implementation of Security SOPs

• Ensure full compliance with operational and security standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to store and security management.

4. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

• Monitor and enforce the company’s OHS policy at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

5. Surveillance and Inventory Checks

• Conduct random checks on goods received and verify them against Goods Received Summaries (GRS).
• Oversee fuel and goods receiving processes to ensure compliance.
• Perform inventory surveillance using tools like GMS and PDT.
• Organize daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks with store staff and report findings.

6. Monitoring Returns and Sales

• Randomly inspect customer returns and ensure adherence to internal consumption policies.
• Verify bulk sales to confirm quantities, quality, and invoice accuracy.

7. Waste Disposal and Compliance

• Monitor and check waste disposal processes to prevent losses.
• Ensure compliance with gate pass SOPs and maintain updated signature specimens.
