Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have strong experience in managing the commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects. You should have excellent attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with both subcontractors and clients effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Construction Knowledge: Experience with civil engineering and large-scale site construction.
  • Contract Knowledge: Expertise in NEC contracts and CESMM.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Proficient in managing budgets and cashflows.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Project Experience: Previous experience with technical investment projects.
  • Specialist Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quantity surveying, construction contracts, and project cost management.

Education and Experience

  • Qualification: Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in large-scale civil engineering or heavy construction projects.
  • Industry Experience: Previous work on pharmaceutical sites is a plus.
  • Proficiency: Skilled in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
  • Language: Fluent in English, eligible to work in the EU.
