Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Manage Daily Appointments: Oversee a team of 1099 outside field representatives, ensuring they are effectively managing their schedules and appointments.
  • Train and Develop Your Team: Provide training and development to help your team excel in closing new business opportunities and achieving their sales goals.
  • Guide and Support: Assist your representatives in self-generating leads and building their businesses within their respective local territories.
  • Oversee the Sales Process: Manage the entire sales process from deal management to value-driven selling, collaborating closely with Operations to ensure success at every step.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Natural Closing Ability: A “no fear” attitude coupled with a professional approach to sales.
  • High Energy: Experience in motivating a sales team, particularly with 1099 representatives.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to ensure that all appointments and deals are managed properly.
  • Multitasking Skills: Capability to handle multiple representatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • B2B Sales Experience: At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in inside or short-cycle sales.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of outstanding performance in exceeding quotas.
  • Integrity and Communication Skills: High level of integrity, excellent communication, and motivational skills.
  • Quick Thinking: Ability to think and react quickly on your feet while being numerate.
