What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

In this role, you’ll lead client engagements, applying structured problem-solving, time management, and providing guidance to junior staff to achieve high-quality outcomes efficiently. You’ll also mentor junior team members, build trusted client relationships, and support strategy and development initiatives for practice growth in emerging Internal Audit (IA) areas, including Agile IA and assurance automation.

• Engagement Leadership: Lead client engagements by applying structured problem-solving and time management.
• Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members in building foundational audit skills.
• Client Relations: Develop authentic and trusted relationships with clients and the broader Deloitte team.
• Innovation and Strategy: Contribute to strategy and development in new IA areas, including integrated assurance and automation.
• Quality Control: Ensure high-quality outcomes through best practices in controls assessment and client engagement.

About You

Ideal candidates for this Jobs In Australia Senior Analyst Controls Assurance role bring:

• Experience: 3-5 years in internal audit, risk assessment, or controls assurance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred, but not mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of industry frameworks such as COSO and ISO, and familiarity with data analytics or information systems.
