Job Description

As a Senior IT Support Specialist at Squadron Energy, you’ll manage the IT service delivery function for end-users, ensuring the continuous operation of systems and the successful delivery of IT projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with vendors, and handling on-site support for a range of devices. In addition to day-to-day operations, you’ll also take part in infrastructure and technology upgrades, making this an exciting role for those eager to shape the future of IT in a growing renewable energy organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Day-to-Day IT Operations:
    • Maintain high service availability for office devices, infrastructure, and systems.
    • Execute Incident, Request, Change, Problem, and Escalation management processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve critical IT incidents promptly.
    • Oversee the development and tracking of end-user support budgets.
  2. Project Delivery:
    • Contribute to key technology projects, including network upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives.
    • Drive continuous improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  3. Hands-on Support:
    • Provide on-site support for laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and company equipment.
    • Ensure proper onboarding for new employees and support for device termination when employees exit.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Extensive IT Support experience, particularly in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mentality.
  • Experience with vendor management and the ability to influence external service providers.
  • Expertise in managing diverse IT systems including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and LAN infrastructure.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
