The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our CTAC team at the CSQ office, which collaborates with five other offices in the wider London area. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships, developing junior team members, delivering excellent client service, and identifying business growth opportunities. Overview
This exciting position within our CTAC team in CSQ will support our ongoing growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, backed by a strong and ambitious leadership team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including UK-listed companies, private equity-backed firms, and family-owned businesses. Your responsibilities will include a range of advisory projects such as tax structuring, domestic tax advice, and international tax matters. While experience with multinationals is beneficial, strong technical skills, enthusiasm, and curiosity are essential.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a key team member to provide UK Tax Advisory services that help clients achieve their business goals while managing compliance processes.
- Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality advice on tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimization, reorganizations, compliance, and tax authority inquiries.
- Work with specialists from other departments and international offices to coordinate tax advisory projects.
- Coach and develop junior team members.
- Manage team operations and performance, including resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify opportunities for tax and related services.
- Oversee proposals for new work, including creating tender documents and presenting at client pitches.
- Actively seek and pursue business opportunities, collaborating with Directors and Partners in business development initiatives.
- Serve as a role model for KPMG’s values.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Qualified ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent with a strong background in corporate tax and accounting.
- Proven ability to develop, coach, and lead teams while managing stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, along with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Well-honed analytical skills and a commercial mindset for resolving issues and offering advice.
- Proactive in identifying and pursuing business opportunities that benefit both KPMG and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- High motivation and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to continuous technical development and attention to detail.
